What a week!

This week has been such a busy week for me (us)!!!! I have worked EVERY day since last Sat.! I has a CPR class this morning @8:00 and my eval. at the Hostital after that. I was a little nervous for it, but not for good reason. Just the fact that 2 other people in our Dept. were asked to fill out an evaluation ON ME!!! All is well, infact outstanding! My boss had not had one single negative comment on me, since I started at the hospital! So very good news! He said he was impressed to say the least. That always makes you feel good. I had also applied for a job in our Mod B unit, and got "official" word that I did get that job. Very exciting!

Tiim has helped out tremendously this week. It is a god send that he is home right now! The boys are both getting better everyday! Wraspy little voices and a cough are about all that is left!

Both of the boys are going to have a sleepover with my Mom tomorrow night, so we are having a "couples night out" with our friends! I- we are SO excited to get out! Love my babies more than anything in this world, but am just in need of a nice dinner out, with good friends! Hope you have a wonderful weekend, enjoy the sunshine!!!!!

Update!

So Teagyn is still sick. Low grade fever and only eating 4 oz at a time. But he is starting to act more like himself! That is good news , LOVE that littlle smile of his and I deeply missed it!!!! Gavyn is coming down witha cold, which I expected would happen. If he comes in contact with sickness, he gets it for some reason.

Tim got laid off from work starting today! This will be interesting. He has never ,not been at work, can we say WORKAHOLIC! But....... he vaccumed the whole house for me, picked up, made the bed! Gave Gav a shower! May not be so bad! It is only for a few weeks. So we will enjoy it while we can.

I have a long week ahead of me I worked Sat., & Sun. at the Hospital. I am working at the salon tonight to make up for last Thurs. (Teagyn was so sick that I had to reschedule all of my appt's to tonight.) I am at the Hospital Tues. & Wed., Salon Thurs., Hospital CPR class on Friday for 4 hrs. then we have an appt. to get our taxes done on Friday night! I get so worked up when things get this busy!

Well I hear Gavyn up and around in his room, it is nap time, so I have to go BUST him. LOL!

My little guy is SO sick!

So, yesterday Teagyn woke up in the middle of his nap just screaming. And, Teagyn very rarely cries, let alone scream. When I finally got him calmed down I noticed that he was wheezing something fierce! I called his Doc, took him in to find out that he has RSV. He has to have a Neb treatment every four hours. Was running a fever of 100.7 this morning.
I feel so helpless. There is nothing that I can do for him. It is just heartbreaking. gavyn claims that he too is "sick"! He wants a breathing treatment, Motrin, etc.! Oh, my! He is such a drama king!

I had to reschedule all of my appointments at the salon on Thursday, and call into the hospital for my shift today! It is my weekend to work, so I am going in tomorrow and Sun. I hope Tim can handle it! I am sure he can but it just makes me sad to not be able to be here for Teagyn. When you are sick you usually just want your Mom.

It feels like it is midnight right now I have had such a long day! On that note, I am exhausted and think I am going to get some rest!
(The good news is that Gavyn is too big to get this, RSV effects ages 2 and under. That is a relief!)

Another snowy day!

Ugh! Another snowy day! I had a "difficult morning to say the very least! Gavyn can be so trying these days! My morning went something like this! Wake up, get Tim off to work (the boys were still asleep), got them both up and fed. I went back to dry my hair and finish getting ready 5 minutes, tops! I came out into the kitchen and there was banana smooshed all into the floor, lotion smeared all over the counter top, and, Gavyn is giggling on the other side of dining room table with max- the dog- ! So I walk over and he has obviously been on the counter (hence the bananas & lotion) To find him sitting there eating Chips Ahoy cookies- the whole package is there! Lord knows how many he inhaled. Mind you it is 8:00 a.m.! Ah, so I clean up the mess. And oh, yes, BOTH boys have poopy diapers! I change them and go into Teagyn's room to put the diapers in the diaper pail. As I am coming out I hear Gavyn saying, "here mommy, here mommy"! I look to find him carrying my HOT cup of coffee from off the coffee table, & it is spilling all over my cream color carpet! I just about lost it, in fact I may have I yelled and then apoligized! So I quickily decided that this was no day to stay home. I packed up the boys and headed into town to run a few errands, before heading off to work! Only to be sent home on call after 3 hours of work! We all have to take turns, and today was mine. The roads were really crappy, so I really did not mind too much! So that about sums up my day, Like my header to my blog says.... Boy's, Boy's, Boy's! Ha! Really I do love my life. Some day when the boys are grown ,I know I will look back and miss all of these eventful days!

A Blustery COLD Sunday!

Well, today was a good day to be indoors! So cold. My blood is way too cold to be out in this! Tim is out plowing! It makes me so nervous to have him out driving in this weather! Prayers to bring him home safe to us!!!!

I made a nice Sunday dinner today. Roast, baked potatoes, rice, and asparagas! So yummy! Gavyn ate like a champ, he is definatly a meat and potatoes kind of guy like his dad!

So tonight, I bribed Gavyn into watching "The jungle book". You see, we bought him the movie for Christmas but haven't been able to get him to watch it! He gets attached to 1 movie at a time and won't watch others! First it was "Nemo" and now it is "The Incredibles"! So tonight I bribed him with popcorn. It worked! We popped popcorn, and sat on the couch to watch "The Jungle Book"! It was so fun. He is getting so big! I love that we can do things like this with him, now.
